I was part of a bridal party and we all stayed at the Plantation Estate. There were multiple outdoor living spaces to hang out in (including a good sized pool). The Estate was well kept and discreetly maintained daily. There were plenty of fans and even a few rooms with a/c. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was even a baby bathtub to use! We had a great time here! I would definitely recommend staying here as a bridal party, for a family reunion, or even for a small wedding. Beautiful.
We were in Hawaii for my son's wedding, there was a small group of us of about 22 that consisted of the entire wedding party. My son and his fiance rented the plantation estate for the whole week so the wedding party could all stay together, as well as the wedding was held at the estate. The estate consisted of three buildings the main house and I think the second house was called The carriage House and then there was the pool house. The main house I believe had two bedrooms a large living / dining area any full-size almost commercial grade kitchen. I don't remember exactly how many bedrooms we're in the carriage house but there was plenty for all of us. The carriage house also had a game room / TV room for everyone to enjoy. The pool house consisted of a large outdoor Lanai, and a very large bedroom. And also had a very nice grill for outdoor cooking. I could not think of a more perfect way to spend the week of my son's wedding with everyone being able to mingle together without worrying about having to drive anywhere else. They provided all the bedding towls etc. The plantations pool was very nice and we used it quite often. The plantation as a spacious front lawn where the wedding ceremony took place it could accommodate quite a few people. The state was conveniently located on the North shore about a half an hour drive from Honolulu. Multiple Beach accesses we're available within just a few miles. Does stated solve was in good shape and cleaning. By no means a five star hotel but we enjoyed it very much. Before we stayed there we heard horror stories of the roosters crowing at the crack of dawn, sorry to inform you but yes this is true. But by the second night we were so wore out that we didn't hear of any longer so don't let this sway you from not staying here. We'd also heard rumors are rats and lizards but I am pleased to say none of us saw any of those. Within walking distance was the beach and a 7-Eleven convenience store. overall I would recommend this property to anyone. If you have the pleasure of staying here while you're in Hawaii just remember to drive with aloha!
This is one of the best trips I've ever done with my family and this venue and accommodation was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating for everything we needed. The host and management were accessable for all our needs and this place is very ideal for family reunion and it's very clean and especially the main kitchen is very well equipped. Thank you so much Chris and to all the staff for making our stay a very memorable trip.
I had the pleasure to attend my nephew's wedding at the Plantation Estate a week ago. The photos cannot do this beautiful property justice. The main house has a gourmet kitchen and additional freezer space, laundry room and enough dining seating for at least 16 indoors and even more outdoors. The wrap around porch is furnished with comfortable rattan sofas and chairs and made for a wonderful escape from the short showers. There is an additional covered patio area with even more dining tables and chairs and an extra refrigerator...great for beverages for people enjoying the outdoors and swimming pool. The lawn area in the front of the property was a beautiful setting for the wedding ceremony, and the area above near the main house was great for the reception. The additional guest quarters are clean and neat. Simple furniture but includes bed linens and bath towels, closet space and drawers. Keep in mind that this is not a hotel resort, and you will need to provide your own toiletries. Also, I recommend you bring your own beach towel and save the bath towels for bathing. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding, family reunion or gathering for any reason! Would love to return some day.
Amazing history of this plantation. Definitely would visit this at least once. Takes about 2 hours, and if you like history, it’s a must. Also supports the local community.
Great place for a large family or group to get together and stay. Nice kitchen so you can cook your own meals, large sitting areas and beautiful landscape and views. No air condition. It was nice being on this area of the island and not in overcrowded Waikiki
